Perfect Reflection Cover Reveal
It’s not every day an author gets the opportunity to share their work with the public, let alone share some of their most intimate thoughts alongside it. Somehow, I’m managing to do both at the same time.
I’d joke and say it’s the manic side of me, but realistically, there’s probably some truth to that. Being Bipolar II and a writer is a diabolical combination—one I’m still hoping works in my favor.
With that said, I am incredibly excited to finally share the cover for my debut poetry collection, Perfect Reflection.
From the beginning, I wanted the cover to capture the essence of the collection itself: a perfectly imperfect reflection of mental health, memory, emotion, and what it can feel like to live with an undiagnosed mood disorder. Emotions, by nature, are cyclical. They shift, overlap, intensify, disappear, and return. Healing is rarely linear, and neither is the human experience.
This collection was never meant to offer perfection. It was meant to offer honesty.
I could not be happier with how the cover came to life, and I’m so thankful to aeriiuna for creating the artwork featured on the front of Perfect Reflection. Thank you for making the process feel effortless and for understanding the vision so intuitively. You captured exactly what I hoped this collection would feel like before anyone even opened the first page.
What started as a cathartic release slowly became something much larger than I expected. And now, it’s almost ready to belong to the world instead of just me.
