Writing From Baseline

It’s been a hot minute since I sat down to write. Well, to write anything that I can post here on my blog, at least.

I have been busy the last few months, figuring out what life is like here at baseline. But also, with a promotion at work. I am now a Team Manager II, which takes up the bulk of my time as I learn to navigate this new role. I will say it is a lot more than I expected, but so much more rewarding.

Writing has been slower than I would like, but today I felt the need to write something that would make me feel productive. I figured a short and simple update would suffice. I have a few projects I would like to keep working on; I need to find the motivation to keep going.

My primary focus is continuing to expand on my speculative horror fiction piece. I love it and need to find the creative motivation again to keep going, which has been a challenge.
